DAY 1 - THURSDAY

I have a weird belief lately.

LONG HAIR BRINGS BAD LUCK

Being a superstitious man, I went to cut my hair to the shortest length as possible. As no hair brings no luck, no luck means no bad luck as well. And I’ve got the shock of my life when I reach home. The barber cut my silky long hair, into this:



Well, a small sacrifice for a big change I guess.

Anyway, met with bp for breakfast at Ya Kun, before going to the suntec COMEX show. The French toast is delicious, but every bite I took is a stab in the heart. Cause the set costs $3.90, which is double of what coffee shops are selling. Talk about big evil organizations.



Went to Suntec, and saw the booth we are allocated to. And we realized, it’s so far from the main hall, and most importantly, it’s behind a big fat pillar. After 4 hours, its time for lunch and we went down to collect a box of bottled mineral water from the main booth. And we’ve got the shock of our life.

Look at the crowd at our booth, and look at the crowd at the COMEX hall. Such a big difference! We didn’t signed up to swat the flies, we signed up for the atmosphere of the event, which is so disappointing. Anyway the crowd isn’t exactly all customers, if you look closely, the purple shirts are the dominating feature in this picture. Amazingly I think they over hired, and the booth away from the main hall is unnecessary.

Giving out brochures at the start or end of escalators is a big mistake. Somehow the designers of shopping malls conveniently placed trash bins at both ends of it, and somehow trash cans and brochures have an affinity to each other, and somehow I’ve never seen 70% of the brochures survived after the escalator, because somehow they ended up like this:


Well, that explains everything.

Shirley and Yiu hei came and visit us at dinner time. Took a few rounds around the exhibition hall because we have an excuse to collect dinner at the main booth. Anyway the dinner is delicious, so delicious that I forgot to take a photo of it, and the lunch is disgusting. Well this is lunch:

Anyway I have 1 sale today. Bp has none. Which we’re going to try harder on DAY 2 because we don’t want to go home empty handed. We need crowds though, so our supervisor is going to suggest to the event supervisor, to place a showgirl here. Here we’re trying to focus on sales and there they’re trying to distract us. I’ll get a photo of the showgirl is she’s pretty! Keke!

I know i was suppose to "come back" after 24th, but i was lazy busy.. Haha~

After the day of exam, went lunching and movies. Ate at 鼎泰丰, which is expensive, cuz i am so out of cash nowadays.. Haha~ Despite the outstanding bills we've got, we still enjoy ourselves and the meal.


Went to watch Rush Hour 3, retarded story line, but the action and humour saved the movie. Like it though, haha!

Anyway we went strolling after the movies.. Kiddy Palace, all around Marina, went to Raffles Place, haha~ Went home after some slacking...


Went Packard Bell interview for the Comex show with bp.. Filled some forms, played with some GPS, saw a guy same course as me, only one year younger, and spend a long time hearing the in-charge speaking about the products and targets.

Met up with Lilian for sushi.. Went ichiban boshi, and the sushi there is great. Same price as sakae, but so much better! Whoo!


Went to play TC4 after that, went a few rounds, before we went home.. Haha~

Sentosa on friday. Went with zr and jr for interview at Oscar Oscar's.. The Franco is really a funny guy, and the working environment looks not bad. Except till today the guy hasn't call me yet. Well i think i'll go somewhere work den... Ha!

Went to watch some bird show, which is super retarded.. And got 2 super retarded c kids trying and do stunt, which is super irritating and dangerous, and their parents think they're so proud of their kids, which is so shameless..


Anyway, ytd, went for product training.. And i got an mp3 for answering a question! Wohoo! And i'll be working tml, at COMEX.. Suntec Level 2! Kekeke~

Exams, 3 more papers to go, absolutely no time to blog. Spent most of my time sleeping mugging. 3 more days to the 3 paper marathon, got to mug extra hard. 333! Update just to keep my blog from rotting, just here to add some random pictures of random events.

So many things happened this week.. Good, bad - So unpredictable.


Friday - Went to Vivo with Mad, Johnny, Nic, Fio, Jan, Jer and Sar to watch Simpsons! Went around to shop and dinner before the show. Spent some time at NUM's.

Went Kim Gary for dinner! Had Nissin noodle with egg and meat. The rest of them have some super nice dishes. Like Nic and jan, their toasted bread looks fantastic with a slab of butter on top of a full 3 inch thick bread, and topped with nice syrup. Fiona had some colourful blue coral ice blended drink. Jer, Sar and fio had some nice curry dishes. And nic had some super spicy looking noodle and its in a super big bowl, the size of a basin. It looks delicious!



Anyway, the movie is very funny, and the animation is great. And everythings seems ridiculous in Simpsons, and along with Homer's stupidity, makes The Simpsons, TV series or movie, worth wasting your time on. Haha!


Went to the Sky Garden for a walk. We missed the ending part of Song of the Sea's fireworks. Sat by the railings and chatted. Until Fio, Sar and Jan decided to go buy some food, and ended up getting some super expensive light sticks. The stars are great, the night lightings are great, and friends' company are definitely fantastic.

Ok, whatever hahaha!


The sky is so beautiful nowadays. Rain once in awhile, but after the storm, comes the sunshine.
